Hi everybody! Hope everyone is enjoying the nice weather today. I just camped out in Algonquin Park hoping to see a Moose or two, even a black bear... but with no luck, and I got 25 mosquito bites as a bonus. Great eh? This is my first summer in Canada, so let me know if there's a place I should definitely check out!

Just yesterday, we went to a local Jr High to volunteer, which turned out to be a great experience. Kids at the school raised close to $1,400 for Cancer Society and two staff members at school let us cut their 10-inch hair to
donate to an organization collecting hair to make wigs for cancer patients.

We as hair stylists were reminded of what we can do to make a difference in people's lives. We are brainstorming for some ideas on how we can give back to the community. I will let you know what we came up with the next time, along with some pictures from yesterday.
